Vacation - Day 3 - Cedar Creek Lake

We spent vacation days 2 & 3 at Cedar Creek Lake. Memaw and Gary went out on the boat with us last night, but I couldn't find the camera. I found it this morning and we got some good pics. Toby attempted wake boarding and Scout water skiing. Neither had much success, but we'll continue trying throughout the week.

The dogs loved the water. Maddie played a game of catch with the boys in the lake. Reagan mainly jumped in to get wet and then sun bathed on the deck. As for me, it was just down right hot! I couldn't decide which pictures to put on, so there are a lot. The boys were wiped from hours on the lake, so they slept on the way home.

We get up early in the morning to begin our Day 4 journey to the cabin! I'm looking forward to it so we can set up my hammock and I can read while they hike!

Aug. 12th - Day One of Our Official Family Vacation!!

While we waited for Scout to get home, Toby started his vacation lounging with the dogs on our bed. Once we got Scout, we officially started our vacation locally at the Frisco Roughriders game! The boys had a blast getting autographs and trying to catch foul balls. It was SO hot, I thought I was going to die. It didn't seem to bother
them that much though. We made it to the 9th inning when it was tied and I couldn't last through the extra innings, so we left much to the boys unhappiness.........Blame it on the pregnant one.
Today, we are venturing to Cedar Creek for a couple of days of boating. We also have to pick up our camping stuff because we rented a beautiful cabin for the rest of the week. The boys are going to rough it in the tent, I'll be inside with the air conditioning! Stay tuned, I'm sure this will turn into National Lampoon's with 2 dogs, a pregnant lady in 100+ heat, and 3 boys!!!

11 Weeks and Counting

OK, here it is for all of you wanting to see. Granted, it's not the most flattering picture of me, but I'm not going to get all dolled up just for you to ooh and awe at my belly. I am 11 weeks today. I had a doctor's appointment last Tuesday and everything is fine. I heard the baby's heartbeat for the first time and I actually got a bit teary eyed (quit laughing!). The heartbeat was 175 beats per minute. From here on out I'll try and update the baby bump pictures regularly!! Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Yellow Belt Testing 6-23-07

Toby had his yellow belt testing yesterday. He passed with flying colors. I video taped it, but have no idea how to put the video on the blog, so pictures will have to do. His next testing will be in August for his advanced yellow belt.
For those of you who want a baby update. I'm having what you would call all freaking day sickness. This is the first time I've been out of bed in 24 hours. I finally caved and called the doctor on call this morning to get some nausea medicine. I thought it would pass, but it's only getting worse!!! Thank God for medication. I know all of you are wanting to see belly pictures, but I've actually lost about 10 pounds over the last 2 weeks, so there isn't much to see.....There will be soon so stay tuned!

Boy Scout NASA Camp-In 6/17/07

We all (minus Toby) traveled to Houston this weekend for Father's Day. Scout started the weekend with his Boy Scout Pack at NASA Space Center. He got to spend the night. They also got to ask questions to the astronauts currently up in space. Brian and I went and had dinner with Shannon, Marcus, Matt, Terra & dad. Brian almost chocked to death on a banana pepper and I had the saltiest chicken fried steak ever.....so bad I had to send it back (and you all know how much I LOVE chicken fried steak. Needless to say, we had a great time catching up and the desert was awesome!!

This morning Brian and I met up with the scouts at NASA to take the tram ride through the space center. Needless to say, after waiting for it to quit raining for a hour, they canceled the tour. It seemed like the boys had a blast! Scout got him a space suit in the space shop and wore it all day (even on the plane home)!!

We went from NASA to Terra's house for the big Father's Day BBQ.....Did I mention the rain??? Well, it rained, and it rained, and it rained. By 1pm our flights were delayed. Matt's parents and his sisters family joined us and we had a great time (except for maybe Matt who was outside grilling in the rain). Terra told Scout all about how I got to go to Space Camp as a kid and now Scout wants to go to. He's not quite old enough yet, but we'll send him when he's old enough if he still wants to go!!

By the time we got to the airport our flight was delayed for 2 hours so we thought........Anyway, long story short, we are home now at 7:45pm and dad is STILL sitting at Hobby Airport waiting to get home......Happy Father's Day Dad!!!

The Betting Tables Are Closed

For those of you placing bets there is only 1 baby in my huge belly!! (Whew) I had a sonogram today and I'm 6 weeks and 5 days and the due date of 1/26/08 was confirmed. Brian was quite proud of himself for the fact he saw and pointed out the heartbeat before Dr. Andy. That's all for now, stay tuned!
